Aloha,
I was looking for a weight belt that would be comfortable wearing while snorkeling and/or free diving… Since I live where it's warm I would only be wearing a bikini and this belt would be rubbing on my skin. After much consideration I decided to call this company up. Bruce took the time to talk with me so I could explain my buoyancy issues… We ended up deciding that a good start would be 8 pounds which is 1/2 of what I wear when I go scuba diving with a 3 mm full body wetsuit. Due to storms I have only been able to go out twice but I've absolutely loved the belt so far! I really appreciate the fact that Bruce took the time to talk with me on the phone himself… He spent time explaining things to me and I think we might have found a great match! There was also a little surprise in the box which was a fun little touch… I won't spoil the surprise ✿◠‿◠ The belt is crazy long just so you know so it should fit most people… I will probably cut and burn mine which is a technique I've used before with similar materials. The belt was much more comfortable in the water than I expected it to be… Very happy and also very impressed with their policies… if you're looking for a weight belt this is a good investment… The only thing I would like to see is adjustable weights, for example having the ability to add or subtract some weight as needed.
